Killed the votes? There's been at least eight votes after my comment was posted and nobody mentioned about the clouds. My guess is that no one cares much about it. On another note, I think the idea behind the chop is great.

Obviously the clouds are a window design to help diffuse the radiation of direct sunlight. A necessity for such a tower.
