"More Yellow, more red, and ditch the white in the exhaust. Distort (Heat shimmer) background image and fuselage wings etc. put a 65% Quick Mask radial grad on total image using> adjustment > Levels > centre slider to concentrate on that HOT tailpipe. HTH

agree with tadams...more contrast and saturation to the fire. Also maybe a bit of shadow contrast to the bottom of the jet.

perhaps a glass or ripple filter on the exhaust area, not just on the actual plane exhaust portion but to the surrounding area to give more of an atmospheric heat trail.. render light effect of the center portion of the engine fire.... but is great as is!
