Good think'n, cleanup and lighting ! I think a mid. level boost on the hen would help alot, and some shadows to match the lighting also.

julie this is just about as close as an update gets this one is much much better. it shows that you took the time to better your image. if you would just update the original one to this version no one would care, i would vote for it. this is a 1/2 update.

bumping up the contrast on the chicken would make the colors pop. the only thing my eye is drawn to question, it looks like her body is between the window and the straw rather than sitting on the straw - see that straw area to the left of the left chick
