transparent, and cut sections from it corresponding to the underlying pattern. Don't move the cutouts--you want to keep the grain pattern so it looks like part of the monolith. Put each cutout into its own layer. Darken and/or burn the edges for shad-

ing and depth. Slap it all together and massage it until it looks like a sculpted slab of rock. This was my first attempt, and it shows. Hope this is what you were looking for. :)
