Where's the sun? East or west? The eagle draws my eye away from the road, which feels unnatural with the flow of the image.

Thanks Glennhanna for your comment. My best guess is that the sun is over the horizon on the left side of the image because the shadows fall on the inside of the mountain. I was never sure about the eagle. It may be an unnecessary distraction.
