Got rid of the symetry and did something different with the smoke. Thank you for the suggested improvements :) Im here to learn!

good job on the update :) the loss of the symmetry works well, next you need to be careful with cutting out, see the smoke to the right, it is blurred, yet clearly visible are the harsh straight cut lines, use the pen tool more, there is a tutorial...

...in the tutorial section at the top of the page, basic but will get you going. Also there is no problem using the polygon lasso to cut out, as long as you take your time, hope this helps ;)

better?
marcoballistic marcoballistic
without sounding harsh, no, worse. what I would do now is to use selection tools to replace the smoke effect entirely, the smoke has become too over worked, and needs a drastic re-haul to save the image now

I guess I just dont get it then, I understood thesymetry thing and I saw the rough edges in the clouds, that have become more noticeable in the other entries to me now. I thought the fix was good but if not.......well I gave it my best. Thanks Marco.

like this, I took selection variables of the cloud and manipulated it into your scen after first clearing the old smoke away and repairing the dragon. Then I had to incorporate it in and behind and over the dragon as I only had your flat image...

...Then I added some home made lighting effects and a few extras to draw attention to the dragon as the main focus, then shrouding parts in more smoke effect from the original cloud source. Her is what I got as an idea:

Thanks Marco Yours looks great and i appreciate your helping me. My thought was that the dragon should be blowing the smoke and that it would rise Clearly i did not understand the edges thing tyhough becayse i see in yours what i was trying to eliminate..
