I had the same idea, but insufficient time to do it. This is pretty good, but the blood looks overlayed. Try changing the shape of the blood to conform to the fabric wrinkles. Just mho. :)

hmm..not sure about the amount and placement of blood...unless they took the horse up to the room before beheading it ! If it had got the chop elsewhere, then most of the blood would have drained off
