I'm not a lighting expert by any means. Itlooks to me as if there is a spotlight, but I cannot see which direction the light is coming from. Here's a vote for good effort!

Idea is neat. A spotlight from building would be good. Your lighting of the building is odd. You could have gone with a black background and paled down the building color except where light was hitting it. ; )
