I actually like this better than others in comp that are similar. Same ideas are always done, it is okay, just some look for originality in ideas. I would say you have found near enough the perfect external for use with the bauble, great shadow work too

this is nicely done. look out for a teeny artifact at the bottom and top right of the ornament. looks like a little silver poking through there. use the clone stamp to rid yourself of these before you merge your ornament layer.
