It all looks too flat. Maybe use a topographical image or like a cut away of the globe. I will give you a vote for effort.

well I see it's not clear.. :) I've tried... The ppl at the bottom - they are runnig after the dollar coin. not such a good job, but I gave it a try :).... hope the next one will be better...
