i'd be interested in seeing all of the sources used here. it's unclear what was chopped beyond pasting the beams in the doorway.

jasper, modified wall texture and my cat And it wasn't "simply pasted". I sometimes do more elaborate chopping [all source], too.

ah, I get what you said now. though, I don't agree that an all source chop is any more elaborate than a chop that uses 20 outside sources, in fact, it may be to the contrary.

I guess it's a matter of personal preference, depending on the source provided. Sometimes an image doesn't need a ton of outside sources. I like all different methods.

The mood in these types of photos are always appealing to viewers and I love photos like this, however it is a bit common and I feel like you should use photos like this in the future by printing them out, then constructing it into a form on something..

like a canvas. That way your photo will stand out from the common crowd, and catch the attention of more people by showing them that you've done more to an image than paste and form it into what looks like a photograph that has had color enhancements. :]
