Perhaps it is 2 simple...easily fixed white floor covers punch as does monitor ...flipped the wall and hung pic then placed image in monitor...finished image is not so dramatic ...don't worry I am learning the ropes also ...learn 2 impress & hang in ok

Not that he's saying your work is boring, just that the finished product has no "zing". I vote for entries that make me think, or wonder how they did that. That doesn't happen with this one, it just doesn't move me.

Lol ...yep ...I'm saying the same about my entry in the odd scarecrow contest ...I worked my butt off on the background to create my idea ...but I failed to use much from the source .

OK but I didn't cover the punch I removed it with content aware and content aware left quite a mess so I spent a long time fixing the walls,etc. It might look "simple" but it took quite some time for me to make it look clean.

I understand ..don't get discouraged . Personally I may approach future images with plans to show clearly how much work I put into it . A flawless custom background from scratch doesn't show my work with the source ...or that it's MY custom backgro

I realize now that despite all my work on it ...the minimal use of the source may look as if I used an pre-existing background ...and simply added the hair to it ... folks here like to be impressed by seeing the skill of your work.

I could build a replica of Times Square from a picture of a green bean ...and if it looked real enough ....it would simply appear to be a pic I downloaded. ....Let your work be obvious ...and your skill show undeniably. I'm discouraged but not giving

has nothing to do with how much work was involved... For me it has everything to do with if "I like it". Boring entries just don't garnish many votes. No matter how much work you put in. I hope that helps you two...
