Stands up and applauds, this is clever old skool chopping at its finest, I really really hope this gets the respect it deserves, as this is the winner right here for me, superb.

Great idea! Need some work on palm trees edges, palm trees shadows can be more black like other shadows. Maybe pyramid need more light & contrast... Congrats! :)

#your shadows are a little bit too strong... take a look on the desert hills! a bit softer with a touch of blue ;)
Luxwiz
@Sh!Za ... I used the main big shadow around the oasis for reference for the palm trees, the camel shadows are as in the external.I did tone down the dunes shadows since their edges are softer and the pyramid since it is into the penumbra and fading out.
Luxwiz
I'll check the psd again later and see what I can do...thanks Sh!Za :)
Luxwiz
...I softened the palm shadows' edges slightly.
Sh!Za
#NICE! very good update!
Luxwiz
@ CC...it's the smallest pyramid ever constructed... :) I know the scale of the relative components is not totally realistic, however I it seemed appropriate in order to preserve the aesthetics of the composition as a whole.
Luxwiz
... on a sidenote, the largest palm trees grow up to 80 ft.in height and have trunks of more than 6 ft. in diameter.
Cartoon Contractor
So in other words it would also be the shortest pyramid on Earth? What did they bury in there? A parakeet? LOL
Luxwiz
hehe...yeah but it was Tutankhamun's parakeet! :)

thanks very much to everyone who liked my image and voted for it,I'm very happy for the response it got...as for the scale discrepancies,I know they aren't exact but the aesthetics of the composition felt right as is...cheers, much appreciated.
