yea oh well, life goes on I guess. i could have spent more time adding depth to the solid rock texture, then it really would have been good, but not really any point. thx though

Sure.... there's a point. You just have to decide who/what you're chop'n for. If you're chop'n because you like to chop and want to improve...well...I can't see a much better reason than that. Sure it can feel good to get a lotta votes, but..so what

yea but working on depth- say really putting fourth the effort, (a week) for a CPU monitor that transitions into a mountain is nuts. being that I already have the know how to make it happen.. I know I can go anywhere with a piece, its just time vs payoff

I find that when creating art in photoshop, its all about effort time and detail. sometimes you play around with like 50 ideas before one really looks like WOW, then when u see that WOW your like DAM, thats cool, thats the rush

Doesn't matter about how messy PSD's are you can go back and rename when you want tbh Depth is tricky, even in 3D design with camera emulators it's a bitch to get right.
