I find this very offensive. The politically correct term is "little person". I once had a friend whose uncle's mother knew a guy whose sister married a man that was extremely short and he would highly offended by this!

The word "dwarf" is the correct medical term for someone with dwarfism and isn't offensive. "Midget" is offensive.
