hm... how do you make a (couple of) photograph(s) look like a painting without using filters?.. I agree, looking at it now, definitely the canvas look is too much... heh... but you can't do it entirely without filters... can you?... eh... how?... =)

I think he's referring to stay away from filters in the PSC, as they don't particularly showcase your talent/ability. IMHO.
