Seriously buddy, it has to be. The options for optimising animated GIFs are much more limited than jpeg - basically you get 3 compress options in IR and this is the second lowest (the lowest looked real bad. I think this GIF has a larger pixel area than m

You really want the last word here, don't you? :-) ...maybe you've seen longer animations, but not this big (as in pixel area). I can think of one exception (one of my other posts), but that had very little detail in the image (most of it was blank

i got it to 97k without it looking horrible... 107k with little to no difference... :)

Did you optimize it so that it only has the part that changed on the second frame? I do that to my animated pictures for my webpage that I am working on. In the GIMP it is filters->animation->optimize(for gif). You can get it for free and make smaller
