lol... that is so true yomar... my Snes met its end in a similar fashion.... I needed the insides for a project when i was at college.... its a bugger to get into in realtity... think its got a titanium kevlar alloy shell, im not sure an axe would do it ha ha ha, if i recall i had to get a chisle, get it on its side and balance it and smash seven shades of s**t out of it with a mini sledge hammer.... got the result in the end, poor thing, it served me well, it didnt deserve to end that way...... oh well 10 years on its the PS2'2 turn, now i think ill use acid this time moo har har harrrr :oD
