Kaboom, I may be missing something, but the water laps up about the rowboat and the shadow sets the big boat right on the water with some wave overlap near the bottom of the boats hull. Please clarify what you mean by the boats " don't look like they

are on the water". Perhaps, I am missing a specific detail that may make the boats appear like they are more realistically set on the water, but I can honestly say that, right now, they look realistically placed in the water.
