I did this by doing polar cordinates....that is how I got the "round shape" and half the star. then I floped it so that the other side of the star would show up on the other side. I then took both peices and put them together so that they mached up.

thanks for your explanation. The last part (duplicate and flip) is logical, but polar coordinates is something i never heared of...

Go into filter, then go down to distort. And depending on how old your adobe is it should be in distort. (hope this helps)
