clever swith Mikey, needs a little depth shadow i think to the left of were the wood floor joins the grass to simulate the raised feeling above the grass, but I love the work here, really good, colourful entry

I used the burn tool and clone stamp to add some shadow" thanks for the advice"..~
Feral Hamster Feral Hamster
also - as far as the mushroom's shadow, i always select the shape i want to turn into shadow, then click on the layer the shadow will be on, then darken. that way, instead of a black overlay, you're just darkening the background's natural shad
Feral Hamster Feral Hamster
not sure if that made sense--basically, once you've selected the shape of the shadow, change layers so that the selected shape is now on the background layer. (or whatever layer contains the object the shadow will be on)

Yes your advice makes sense".. I fixed it the best I could, but if I have to I will edit as needed"..~ thanks for the critique it helps, I get caught up in details and I miss things on other sections"
mikey mikey
I tend to get a little busy" adding things in a picture I guess I want to put something interesting to look at" some people like a little extra" but others like pure simplicity" I'm always learning~
Feral Hamster Feral Hamster
yup...much better without the mushroom.
