If a circular saw is the culprit then the cut wouldn't be that clean through leather and rubber. There'd be bits of shoe, flesh and rubber on the ground too. Now a punch press or machete or ?

I beg to differ. In my experience the quality of the cut depends upon the quality of the blade. If the teeth are fine enough, the cut will be clean.

True Vlad but there should still be some debris from any circular saw blade no matter how fine the blade. Also add some bone marrow. ;-)
