Re: vunt van pumununt: Thanks! Most of the fire effect is made by a gradient map adjustment layer. The darker part of the bark is mostly made by a curves & a hue/saturation adjustments layers. And I draw a little bit over it.

Re: Feral: Thanks! Just on the left of the "create a new layer" button is the "create an ajustment layer" button. You click it and you wil see the "gradient map". I used a preset gradient (blue-red-yellow one) that I modified...

...I changed the blue by black, and moved few adjustments. It was already a good base. I also used the reverse gradient option too.
