If your wondering how this was done" ~ for the backround, first I took guide lines and made squares then took the rectangular marquee and over each square and used polar coordinates on each square" ~

Then I cut pieces of the source out to a new document, 550x600 pix, then put them together one piece at a time to form the eagle" then I freehanded some elements, and used dodge and burn tools, made the claws and eye, I may work on it some more still" ~

Just my opinion, but I think you'd do much better in a digital painting forum instead of a photomanipulation one. Your entries are great and all, but they're not really what I look for when I vote.
