oh btw, think it would be a good starter with the psc logo as Splodge said...
Now, if someone could provide me the logo (highres that is, bit stupid if I would use the small one...))?

So Eve, you wouldn't mind keeping track of the one's participating and giving them their spot on the roll? And I'll worry then about placing their images on the site, and all the other site thingys...

Great job, Splodge. Okay, I'll start this if that's alright with everyone.

Please pm me if you're interested in participating. I'll keep an updated list on this thread.

Let's keep this fun and energized. The main challenge is making the transition smooth so that it looks more like one long mural rather than a series of individual images. And if someone needs help, there's a lot of people to go to for some. Please, don't take the easy way out by using one of your favorite daily posts. This should be original work. Just have fun!!!

I'll post mine whenever it's complete and incorporate the PSC logo into it.

I literally pulled this "logo" together in 25 minutes and that included the time to go through the fonts in the "A"s to find a suitable one. Personally, it reminds me of a Brillo package...so if you creatives have more time on your hands have at it! The hi-res PSC logo can be found at the bottom of Splodge's link.

just to be on the save side, since I'm allready building the script and templates for the site.

Is everbody happy with the proposed dimensions (http://photoshopcontest.com/boards/viewtopic.php?t=3994&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=15)

Or shall we lower it a bit to 450px height and no shared zones?

Oh and another thing, it would be very helpfull for me, once images are submitted that they are in a uncompressed format... (bmp or something like that, cetainly not gifs :p)

Also a legality issue, when using outside sources, be sure to have permission to use them, it would be very dissapointing if an integrated image has to be removed from the roll due to such reasons. (nag.. nag.. nag..)

And please Eve, answer Micose's question :p

This collaboration is just for PSC. We don't plan to publish it therefore no copyright rules apply. I'd say anything goes. I'm just a little confused by all your shared zones. Why are there 2 of them? Where will the line go to show where one image starts and ends.

And Micose is just being silly. I've lready answered him...now he does it just to make my avie blush.

I really appreciate all the work you and Splodge have put into this. I'll place a list of those who've responded so far on the 1st post of this thread later today. They're numbered by order of response BUT if someone's out of town/vacation/ill when it's their turn, it can be passed onto the next person. Nothing's written in stone.

Very Happy

Well, since it's on a public accessible place I thought we should consider it...

Exactly the reason why I asked if we should drop them, coz it's starting to confuse me too Laughing.
So, drop those so-called shared zones ... and we'll never talk about them again...

Anyway site almost ready, probably be finished by tomorrow or the day after tomorrow... Only thing needed is the content then Smile

I've added a small thingy so when one clicks on an image they can see some info about the artist (Name on psc, real name, their website if any, some comments about the image, and a small description of the artist). Naturally this must be provided by the artist himself Smile
