Photoshop Contest Forum Index - Ask the Experts - HOW CAN I EXCLUDE BACKGROUND COLOR - Reply to topic

Post Sat Mar 18, 2006 7:31 pm   Reply with quote

I AM WORKING WITH LINE CHARTS AND I WOULD LIKE TO CREATE A TRANSLUCENT IMAGE THAT INCLUDES ONLY THE GRID WITH THE GRAPH (CHART) AND HAS NO COLOR BACKGROUND SO I CAN COMBINE AND OVERLAP VARIOUS GRAPH IMAGES AND COMPARE THEM VISUALLY. IT IS KIND OF LIKE DRAWING ON THE PLASTIC FOILS SO YOU CAN LATER PLACE THEM OVER ANOTHER IMAGE TO SEE BOTH AT THE SAME TIME.
I HOPE I DESCRIBED MY PROBLEM CLEARLY.
PLEASE HELP!
p.s. I AM LOOKING FOR A SIMPLE AND EASY WAY, IF THERE IS ONE, BECAUSE CUTTING OUT PIECES OF A SQUARE GRID ON THE CHART AND OUTLINING THE GRAPH LINE MANUALLY WOULD BE TIDIOUS AND NEVER-ENDING JOB, ESPECIALLY WHEN I HAVE TO WORK WITH NUMEROUS CHARTS FREQUENTLY.
THANK YOU IN ADVANCE!
