You still on dial-up or something Marco? 20 megs is nothing these days. It's for photo quality print, remember.

For free????????

doubt it.
......I still have to buy something for my mom........for a small $ amount I'm sure I could make time to do this though

I looked at it......it is scanned at 600dpi .......that's why it's so huge

So many spots on the picture.......This would be a time consuming work here.
Really too much to do for free.

you could of used a very soft eraser on the pencil marks, and some day old dryed bread on the milldew stains before you scaned the photo, that would of made the job easier
mothers day is in march over here, just thought you'd like to know Very Happy

Yeah another hit and run...

"hey I need something and I don't want to actually do any work myself! It will be so special for a gift from me, even though I did nothing".

Sorry, I just hate people like that.

It has little to do with you not knowing how to use Photoshop. Dew's point is that we get people popping in all the time that are asking us to do stuff for them for free.

Think about a couple points. Were you paying the guy that "sux ss"? If so then how much? Did you shop around for how much photo restoration costs? Did you get an estimate of how much time it would take to restore the photo? Now realize that you're asking for that work and time to be donated for free and we don't know you.

The thought of the gift is great but it's not a good cause that would merit donated work and time like the hurricane photo rescue operation does.

Now if you were looking to pay someone to do this then you'd get a warmer response. It may sound bad but that's how it is.
