While I hate to agree with showcase, I myself am annoyed by large sigs. I'll check with JMH and if, indeed there is an option to turn sigs off, perhaps he can add that to the site. I'd prefer that to limitiing file size as that would add police work for the mods. Not something I want during baseball season. Wink

HA! agreeing with me feels good Nanc...let it happen. Very Happy

I dont think anyone expects a mod to troll the threads looking for offenders and getting it changed as soon as its found.

While I would be in favor of turning them off, Im sure that many like sigs, both viewing and displaying...I dont think its a HUGE problem here and even a few arent bad. I bet the mods will get help from members when a sig is found to be too annoyingly large...then its just a quick PM to the user asking them to change it.

The good thing with setting a size limit is there doesnt have to be any subjective choice for a mod. If a complaint is made and the sig in question is too large, it gets changed. No squaking about it being annoying to just one or two members or a mod...it exceeds the limits.

Anyway, the poll seems to show some interest in doing something to regulate them.

This isn't too big, is it? I'm going to try and make sure my stuff is fine with you guys. The whole point of banners is basically for the entertainment of the other members, so I want to know if this is too big or not. What's with all the blank space below the banners, though? I think one or two lines cut out of that would help with the giant-post problem.

It'd be nice if center tags could be used w/ a siggy..can they?
if they can, i'd do one for fun.
This left aligned stuff w/ siggys makes 'em all look second rate.
