Hmmmmmmm...BUT
what if ya kept the field we have now with a little check box for
checking "anonymous comment"-
just no name will come up.
Lack of "POSITIVE" comments are because
positive comments OFTEN get a negative response..
I say BULLY...anon comments will force interaction.
I say the real choppers will use this..
If I wanna tell a chopper his chop would look perfect
if he burned that water at the bottom of the fishbowl
where it meets the table..
I shouldn't have to NOT say anything out of fear I'd be dealing with a pissed of Serps.
Luckily we dealt with it by PM......much later
my procrastinating not only caused Serps to lose votes...
it was also WRONG!
commenting on an image in any real way is rare around here...
because of exactly that.

Before anyone just trashes this idea..
please keep in mind that this poll was showing about 50/50 even for that big horse of an extra field idea.

A current to this very moment example has
miraculously appeared.(or is it that this is indeed
a persistent problem)

I think that critics are just the way to lern for whom like me is at the beginning.
I ask you all, please tell me every time i do something wrong, like lightning, contrast, perspective......
So i can improve day by day.
Very Happy

to me the whole point of this site is to better myself. If I want to get better I have to rely on everyones eye and to let me know something needs adjusting or if it's honestly good or bad. If your not here for that reason then chop, enjoy and just put a comment in the section under your pic saying no critique please or "please critique" or whatever to that respect. When I joined I was with the impression I am going to get comments on my stuff and can I deal with that. The only ones that I've seen ppl having a problem with are rude ones but that's just in my bubble of the site. But I walk on egg shells a little when I critique ppls stuff to be as postive as I can cause it's hard when you read something and can't see the persons reaction that wrote it. Ok....soap box is back in the garage....hahahaha

people could have a sensitivity rating, so you know whether or not they can handle critiquing of their work

any bad reactions to criticism result in an increase of your sensitivity rating
