tie to source is VERY clear - to me this really IS in the spirit of "using" the source and is a very interesting take on the source. .
any actual pixels from source in final chop ?
EDIT! - I looked at comments, and Claf included source in here, so I guess this example doesn't hold either!
I STILL say if someone WERE to make a perspective change that retained all the elements of the original but from a different point of view by redrawing them all- then that would be using the source very well. THAT kind of chop would not in my view have to have any pixels of the source to be considered as "using" the source.
