Is there any image or artist that makes you willing to improve your photomanipulation skills and style?

Cliche' probably but Bert Monroy. Years ago I saw him do a chop on The Screensavers. Hooked me at that point.

For me it's 'lithographs?' I think that's the right word...
I have several 19th and 18th century bibles..and. WOW
seriously, the prints in them books are astounding.
I can't seem to mimic it in PS at all.
My other motivation to come up with 'new' angles is of course...
Crowned. Smile
otherwise I get depressed when i make anything at all and realize later it was totally inspired by something someone else had already done.
i am looking for unique and new...that's what I dig.

Dusseault work is really special, thanks for the link ReyRey.

Scionshade: your work is very inspiring as well.
I have read an article about the giclee on canvass printing process. To make a long stroy short: lithographists are against this new process because it is not artistic.

Me I'm all about caricatures, and this guy is the best.( C F Payne)

I've been fooling around with PSing some lately but it's in the usual 'GravyBoat" style so not really worth posting. Sad But I'm getting a little better all the time. Maybe one day.... Smile
