Back window this am. Pool's frozen over. You can't see them in this pic but there's a flock of Canada geese back in the river.

Gravyboat, do you think they need their passports or to give their toeprints to cross the US border?

Wow you guys!!! The pictures are really cool... I woke up in the middle of the night and clicked on this topic.. I sure didn't know what I was going to see. Really awesome. All the pictures were sooooooo great. And I especially liked the description of the backyard since you didn't have your camera!Way to improvise.

I've really have a lot to be Thankful for this Thanksgiving! Cool

Great idea, Kathy. No matter what, we can all count our blessings. I stuck in four from this summer and my favorite view from the back of our place. When it isn't cloudy you can just see Mt St. Helens about where the rainbow is. The cattle and that whole pasture is our neighbors place. Just sold to a developer, so that view will be gone this next summer. Caught a woodpecker at sundown at a big fir in our backyard.

Happy Thanksgiving, all Very Happy

We live in a two story house adjacent to the third hole of a golf course. I took these pictures(today-Thanksgiving day) from the second story balcony which is attached to the Master bedroom. I am in the very novice stage of learning how to work with this Canon Digital Rebel camera, so this is the best I could do with the level of skill I currently possess.
