OK, so I'm a new user, but it's impossible to keep under 125 KB and within the guidlines of at least 500px X 350 px and submit an image that's even worth viewing...I'm talking about the 'Fire Blanket' entry.

Maybe it's just this entry that's so constrained, or is this a general constraint on all the contests? I like big, fat photochops...

I'll submit my entry on my website, it's worth a standalone post...

My Photoshop V 5.0 doesn't have the save for web constraints system built in.

I'll keep working on other methods...thanks for the pointers.

I've been using PS 5.5 for some time (just got CS2 within the last few weeks) - you ought to be able to get a jpg image quality adjustment through "save a copy" funcition - indicate jpg then use the quality slider to get your file size right - keep an eye on the file size at the bottom of the box when you use the slider. Often a quality of 7 or 8 would do the trick for me

Did it...went to Easy Thumbnails and downloaded the free creator.

Finally I can do the contest!
