Perceptive Pixel is a New York based company that is trying to develop and market one of the most advanced multi-touch touchscreen systems in the world.

The eight-foot screens they have developed are reminiscent of the screens in the futuristic Tom Cruise sci-fi thriller Minority Report - but are grounded in real world technology. In other words, they actually work. Check out the demo video below. If you watch this video long enough, you'll see photoshop being used to warp a face.

There is a few linux variants that will run like that. I like the basic principal but, it sure looks exhausting. Almost like photoshop for Wii.

I think it's a bit annoying to carry that large screen around. BUT I STILL WANT ONE.

I saw a clip about this awhile ago (maybe 6 months), I think it was on youtube or dailymotion... they were unleashing it for the first time, and some guy was talking about the different applications, ect.... very cool!
