i thought that you could upload 3 entries as a non advantage member. but i can't seem to up load my 3rd.

thats funny lol. ok so next question what happens if i were to update an entry w/ almost a completly diff. image but has the same idea? and it has one vote for the previous entry?

well...nothing stopping you from doing it, there aren't any rules about it and people have done it before. Pretty much the only "bad" thing about doing this is the people that had voted for the previous one might be a little miffed if the newer one isn't to their liking and they wouldn't want to have voted for it. Usually not a big deal though.
In your case, it's not a problem. When you have lots of votes already, it's questionable, but if you've got just one, no problem.

I managed to post 3 entries, with one of them being a 3 meg .gif!

you're allowed to update/*edit* any image you post except in the H2H.
However, an edit goes to the bottom in anonymous comps...so if you don't want to lose your position, try to make your image the best you can from the get go. Lots of ppl have changed their minds and posted another image...it's not entirely cool, but acceptable.

ok what if i were to say some thing in the text under the pic to the one person that voted for my entry about saying sorry about updating after they voted?

that's fine. Usually only need to do that if there are already several votes for it. If it's just one person, all you really need to do is PM them just to let them know, if you feel you need to.
