I see there's a slight improvement in this area. The current 'Submit Originals' page now shows more information about submitted images.

You have had submitted 14 original images.
You have had 3 original images accepted and 1 rejected.
4 of your submitted images are currently in the voting queue.
Accepted: ...

Indeed..Kudos to Proc. Nicely done.

agreed Bow

now if I just knew which were rejected....

I would like to know which of mine has been rejected to get an idea what to avoid submitting in the future.

Maybe add a 'Hall of Shame' page with thumbnails of all the rejects Very Happy

Please, leave it the way it is.
you allow easy multiple uploads and these guys will upload ALL their crap images.
this way it takes a little effort and people are more likely to pick and choose what they upload.
We can only do 365 images a year.If it's too much work for yas, don't worry about it.

I do agree that it should be a one-at-a-time submission. BUT it would still be nice to make it a little more friendly. The idea that making it a little easier will only foster submission of crappy shots is silly. There's nothing preventing people from uploading crappy images as it is! Judging by the images in the rotation they are doing that too.

Taking 2 clicks out of the process for each additional image won't make it worse.

I'm quoting a really old post, but I didn't see this back in February and I wanted to say that the overly tedious process of uploading pics here is what keeps me from doing it more often, and It's not that they are crap pics, either. I take lots of photos thinking "hey, these would be great source pics." but I just don't really feel like taking an entire afternoon to resize and upload a couple dozen photos when it shouldn't have to take so long.

Look up IrfanView. Batch processing of an entire directory to resize. Cool

OOORRRRRRRRR

One of the Photoshop gurus here could probably help you create an action that would do the job? I seem to remember a thread about that a while back.....

actually it's a standard script in ps cs 2 (don't know with earlier versions )

File -> Scripts -> ImageProcessor (translated from dutch version, so it might be name slightly different)
