That is why I rather have 20 COMMENTS on my entry, that I can learn from, then 20 votes that say ...

I agree with what you say Sliver but this is about "all source" not votes...but I guess this site still runs on votes and not skill...sad but true. Wish more people looked at it that way mate, but it is what it is.

We could always move on to sweet giffy magic. Laughing

I think the votes thing can be avoided, when you just have more blind entry contests, at least 3 or 4 per week. Without the prize competitions mind you, just blind entries and blind voting. That will keep the dedicated choppers going and keep the people who are in it for the votes on their toes.

We use to have that and there was a lot of MSNing and Pmvote grabbing...the system works well as it is...I just wish more people comment and and look to see what went into a chop...votes have never been that bigger deal to me...opinions always will.

That was just a reply to claf's quote..
All source images.. Most of my all source images go down the drain and don't get what I expect (for an all source) , but it is a sweet relief to finish sth successfully using only the image given! It is a challenge!

If my opinion matters, All Source is exactly what it is, All Source! Nothing but the source is used. No externals - period!

I think you can tell the difference between a 'vote whoring' all source, and an all source..

That's about six Smile Smile Smile Smile Smile Smile 's for Sliver.
You want credit ONLY for what you do, no "I like you" credits? no "you voted for me" credits? That is so cool. It made me happy...and ya know, sometimes, some people, think I am never happy, but YOU! you made me happy.
BTW--everybody that owes me money--my paypal been empty a few weeks and I got a couple things I'd like to lay my hands on and no spare moola 'en el banko.

all source gets my respect

doing one of these and telling all of us so... that gets my respect
• getting permission to use copyrighted materials
• using royalty free externals

but that combined with really trying and skill, being original, doing more than just slapping something in there with the source... that will get you my vote AND my respect.
