I quit back when Cigarettes where getting close to $1 a pack. The cost scared me out of it. Laughing Laughing

Of course after that i could smell it every where, on my clothes in the house etc. In the closet, I had to wash everything.

Now years later I will get a whisp sometimes and start to drool.

But they aren't habit forming at all. Cool

I'm on my second week of chantix. First week was great because you get to smoke while taking the prescription. Second week...no cigarettes and I gotta say it's been an excellent week. I've had little to no urges and today is the end of my eighth day smoke free. Actually I have to say I've had NO urges...just the habit kicks in once in a while but very mild. Beats the patch by 200% PLUS it contains no nicotine. Recommend it to anyone who wants to quit and is serious about it. I was smoking a pack a day and been smoking for 20 years with 2 unsuccessful times I tried to quit. This may be the one that works. Here is the site....

6 months?? How much are "fags" there?
At a pack a day (me) the prescription for 28 days is a little over how much I spend on cigarettes in a month which are right now averaging $3.50/£1.7 a pack .
Cost here is $128.00 or around £62
You get 28 days with one prescription.
program is:
1st 3 days = 1/2 mg
next 4 days= 1mg
next 21 days = 2-1mg pills a day
All of it comes with one package.

OK since we're being serious now.

I quit smoking 5 years ago last June just after my first born came into the world. That, along with the CQpatch cured me of my nearly 16 year habit. Best thing I ever did for myself and my family. Very Happy

BTW anyone wishing to quit smoking that uses the patch, they say don't wear them to bed because of vivid dreams... Well myself being one to question such statements decided to wear it to bed Shocked Vivid doesn't even describe them! Lucid/Trippy was more like it!!! Laughing

Hey MG - I quit using Chantix also. I haven't smoked since February of this year. Smile

Shaman, the Chantix drug gives you vivid dreams as well. I had forgotten that until reading your post above. I has some wild and intense dreams when I was taking it.

way to go BS Brandon! Very encouraging. I've had no vivid dreams Crying or Very sad . Only problems I've had are every time I upped the dosage, the following day I would feel nausea for about an hour and then it was good. Also I notice that I'm good for the day but around 10 I'm ready to go to sleep. If I do that I wake up around 4 in the morning but rested. The only time habit wise that I really think of it is after dinner and I'm figuring that it's the end of the day and you just had dinner and you can finally relax from your day so that's when I must enjoy it the most. But even then all it takes is a conversation with someone off topic and I am good. This drug is the closest thing to a miracle that I've ever tried.
Splodge if the price of cigarettes went up to $10 here which I'm sure it's just a matter of time I'd be doin what your doin. Wink
