Wow ...and your first one?! Beautiful. Who is that ? Could you show some more of your sculptures?
Thanks !!!!
I did that one in college, we had to work from a picture, the picture was from some old samourai movie.
This one is pretty small, 5 inches high, also one the first ones.
Not a sculpture but I bought a plain uncooked vase, had it made thicker so that I could carve into it.
I don't have many at home, most of the others I have here were for molding tests only.
The others are spread out with family and friends, someday I'll have to take pictures and put them together on the web somewhere!

Thanks Paul, BC, Naïko & Jan for your feedback!
It sounds my last one is my best... it maybe means I'm taking the right direction. I'll take a sabatic year somewhere in the next few years just to produce paintings and see what I can do.
Naïko, I like a lot your first image. Nice shades & textures.
Jan, you have talent. For a first sculpture, it's amazing!

Claf, your work is reminiscent of Richard Diebenkorn.

True...true, my fine French friend. But I think of CA contemporary artists first.
But I think not so much Motherwell nor Rothko
It is original CLAFKO.

Thanks Eve!
Hey... Richard Diebenkorn, Nicolas De Stael, Soulages... I'm very ignorant about artists.
I heard about Soulanges before, but never about the others.
Some great paintings!! Thanks Eve & Naïko!
I can't say I was influenced by them... but I always been very observatif about any kind of artwork.
I think an important thing is not trying to imitate something or somebody's stuff... just fight (maybe it's because of my lack of experience, I feel it that way) & do it!
