I've installed my CS3 on my old work laptop. Well my computer at my new job is KICK ASS and would run CS3 like a dream.

Problem is that I can't find the paper that has my license information. Confused

Anyone know if/how I can retrieve the license keys? It's CS3 Master Collection. :magicwand: :marqueetool: study Please Bow

Do you have access to the laptop....if so, it should be in the registry. It should also be in a file on the disc itself.. Question ....I would say your in for a PHONECALL to customer service.... Crying or Very sad .. Sarcasm ...they are so friendly. Knowledgable TOO. Argh

VOK or Grephix could tell ya for sure.

Contact Adobe's support line for Product Key issues 800-642-3623

On previous versions the full license key appeared at the bottom of the Help-About screen. I don't have CS3, but I guess this is not the case anymore

Also check if the serial is saved in the registry. On WinXP I can find the full number for CS2 saved in

HKLM - Software - Microsoft - Windows - CurrentVersion - Uninstall - {0134A1A1...long string for Adobe Creative Suite 2} mine is second from the top.

The key name is DecryptedSerial

What about the Transfer Activation feature in the Help menu?

CS3 has some pretty wacked out security things in place. I did an upgrade from CS2 and now, when-ever I want to re-install CS3 I HAVE TO call Adobe for a Happy Secret Code Number that is always different.

I asked them, since I've dropped my $1000+ on the software, could I PLEASE have a way to do my re-install withOUT checking in with Mommy & Daddy - their answer was a quick two-letter response. Huh..

So - as a few have already said here - it will probably be WAY FASTER to just call Adobe and get them to help you. They've always been fairly fast and relatively smart in dealing with me... I wish you the same! Smile

GOOD LUCK TOFU!!!!!!!!! salut

Haven't contacted support yet. Don't like sitting on hold.

But it looks like that's what I'll have to do. Wonder if I'll need to have the laptop and the desktop together so that I can do the license transfer?

This would be a whole lot easier to do if I wasn't trying to stay legal. Twisted Evil

I'm having a similiar issue. I need to retrieve the license key for a bunch of CS2 applications. But the one I found under the help tab is only 20 figures and it's supposed to be 24, does anyone know where I can find the missing 4?

Cheers!
