I won't vote for a GIF that clearly was a hasty effort--unless it is a work of inspired genius. I haven't seen one of those yet.

I think that this gif Was a work of inspired genious even if it was a bit cliche... Wink especially considering the size restraints at the time. It was a lousy image to start with. I just wanted to make something funny while keeping the original size of the image intact. It worked very well and to good effect.

Someone else thought it was good enough to rip off and add to which I also enjoyed. I can honestly say that I liked it even better even though it only got a third as many votes.

Wow. Lotsa replies. Too much for my ADD to deal with. Confused

Me? Oh. I vote for a gif if the execution is good. The only time I'd vote for a poor quality job in a gif is if it made me giggle or I knew the person was just starting out in gifs. After all they're a bitch to do.

I'd really like to see some tuts from Voks, Buck, etc. on how they do their giffy voodoo to get big size gifs, with lotsa color and clarity, and still in the KB limitations. I know Voks has pointed things out in the past. But I fergit. Razz

The way I see it, bad gifs never win contests anyway, you know humor is what drives votes on cheesy gifs, sometimes that adds to the humor Laughing

I'm still trying to figure that one out. I mean how the heck did he do that? Shocked Laughing

If you spent 12 hours on your work and get 8 votes and some 16 year old kid from Fargo north Dakota spends 35 minutes on a cheesy GIF and gets 25 votes then you got ow3n'd..deal with and move on....or download easy GIF maker but for the love of all the Adobe GODs stop whining like some 12 year old girl who's dad couldn't get her Hanna Montana tickets.

come on pale TheShaman
