Last week I was driving down the freeway at @ 70-80 mph, and off to the right on a overpass piling I see this work, I immediately thought Banksy's been here! Shocked
(I added some PS work below to show what I saw last week)

The next day I was telling my artist friend about it and he said he had seen 2, so I went to where he said the other one was, and it looked like it had been painted over, I was like "SHIT" I have to get back over and photograph the other one before that gets painted too, so the slow poke that I am, get over a few days later and I see part of it was painted over, or so I thought, with cars wizzing by me at 80, and no where to pull over, I darted out of my car, (you can see it way up on the left), Rolling Eyes when I get to it, to my surprise it's painted or silk screened on a felt like paper and glued on the wall, with part of it peeled off and not on the ground, (look at the right shoulder), the image below is how it is now, I PS'd the upper to show what it used to look like, anyway, I think it's Banksy's work, what do you INK?

Robert Banks, perhaps the artist of our generation?

Banksy sprays directly onto the surface, I have never seen any of his work on felt... and there is a multitide of great stuff in London to see. I also don't think the message is strong enough - what is it saying?... not much. My opinion is this is Banksy Inspired but not the man himself... (whatever the hell he looks like!) Laughing Laughing

I could be wrong though...

I don't look like that, and that ain't Banksy, or neither is it me.... yeah thats clear enough Laughing

Banksy is a modern visual genius of the ironic and thought provoking imagery, love it:

To read his interview, he was saying how he would look for ways to do his work without getting caught, because this image was on the side of a busy freeway with a thousand cars going by every minute, I could see why the image was premade on paper and glued up, so it could be done in minutes, I also agree that the image does not have this big impact or message, but it does make you ink Laughing this place on the freeway is only minutes away from an international airport.

Make one like this and put it up next time you pass by the spot.

If the cops come...just start talking to yourself.....say things like: I TOLD YOU WE WOULD GET IN TROUBLE...then in another voice...sssHHHHHH...the first voice. Cops avoid nut jobs...plus you may get a free ride home. Cool

Idea ...lets have a BANKSY day....everyone can do a Banksy style stencil.

THAT sounds like a fun one to see. I can't begin to IMAGINE what Reinman would come up with. Laughing

At @ 1.5 minutes into this vid, you see preworked images being glued up, so he/they are doing it, true, I am not convinced that what I Photographed is a Banksy image, also what I shot is not on felt, I said it looked like a felt paper.
