For the first time ever (that I can remember anyway) I've set a couple resolutions for the new year.
1. Lose 60 pounds or more (but at least 60).
2. Get more organized in my life.
3. Possibly participate in the local mini-triathlon in June 2009 (¼ Mile Swim - 14.5 Mile Bike - 3.7 Mile Run (6K)). This is dependent on how I'm doing on #1.
So far I'm off to a decent start. I've already lost 8 pounds and all I've done is cut back on the junk food. I found out that simply cutting 100 calories a day off your intake will mean a 10 pound weight loss over the course of a year.
Tonight I start the treadmill. By spring I hope to be able to run around the entire lake.
So... what are your resolutions for the new year? Need help/support with them?
