Howdy mein friends. (and a hearty HELLOOOOO to my less-than-friends )

I'm thinking I need a bit of a holiday. Batteries are WAY down and my Home Recharger doesn't seem to be working at the moment.

I'm not a Beach Bum kinda guy, but I do enjoy a good road trip.

So I don't want to head North - had enough of the cold weather to last 1/2 a lifetime. Don't want to drive EAST (same deal, except with BIG HILLS to deal with). Driving West is only good for about 15 minutes and then I run into an ocean.

SO: South is looking pretty good. I was thinking I could hook up with some PSC folk in the WEstern/Southern USofA territory, if possible. I went to our FRAPPER map but, OMINOUSLY , the area I would like to travel through is MISSING!!!!!



Now, my buddy Matt (noGoodS8trSpunk), I know how to find him... but all is dark south of Portland.

If anyone has a semi-comfy couch and a hospitable nature between Portland and SoCal lemme know. I'm not sure about this yet, still in the planning stages... but I'd be doing it fairly soon and I'd not be staying any one place too long... I just want me and my camera to see a bit of the SouthWest if possible!

My dear Alan... I fear that the drive to the EAST coast and SOUTHERN part of it isn't within my grasp, at this point. I'll only have about a week (10 days max) for the whole round trip. I'll save up my air-miles though!

You talkin south, like south Fla? I'll get the beers on ice if so...

Heck, Paul, if he isn't willing to drive to North Carolina South Florida is probably right out.

How come nobody will go to Wisconsin? I've got a spare bedroom instead of just a couch (although I do have a nice big couch), I live across from nice lake so there's nice scenery to photograph, there's even a campground nearby if'n you don't like my the spare bed. You'd even have your own bathroom!

AND ACCESS TO ALL THE CHEESE YOU COULD EVER NEED!

I don't drink but there's Point Brewery with tasting tours only 20 minutes away from the house. You can, so I hear, even get bottles filled and plastered with your own custom label on them while you're there.

*sigh*

Just send me some cheese... it goes good with beer!

Well it seems you aren't traveling east/south, but for next time you travel....

It seems like all the people here that feel they are a SAFE DISTANCE from me are giving me the invites!

Okay - I'm as far south as Portland...

Sorry, my European friends... I do not know any way to actually drive my Honda Civic to Europe... without getting VERY wet. But thanks for thinking of me! Perhaps this summer? I owe Buglover a visit in Hamburg!
