i guess when the basic of the number..atleast the bass is done, someone has to sing it in, and than its up to people who want to expand it Smile

When that's done, let me know and i'll see what i can do with it Twisted Evil

Well, first thing I notice is that the boys don't follow their own lyrics sheet - dude repeats the 2nd vs for the 4th! Ah, those 60's drugs. Very Happy

I'm gonna follow the original lyric path, as they are good and sound.

You kids work out who wants to do whatever - I'm kinda under headphones for a bit here.... and thus (in a rare moment) quiet on the threads. Wink

Okay - I'm in the middle of recording the actual Guide Recording - but all you interested types can download THE LYRICS HERE and start practicing. Wink

(PDF also includes basic 12-bar blues chord guide at the bottom.)

The rough model I'm following is from this performance, though the lyrics I got from the original composition.

And I'm fine with whatever you guys want to do with it once I post up the guide MP3 and the basic bass and drum tracks.

Full ReinMan GUIDE-MIX of "Work Together" (this track is included so you get an idea of how I put the arrangement together)
http://zydeholics.com/MP3s/Work_Together-full_guide_mix.mp3
(includes bonus 70's rubbery synth solos and some grunting)

Same, but only the bass & drum tracks:

http://zydeholics.com/MP3s/Work_Together-drums_bass_only.mp3

MIDI file:

http://zydeholics.com/MP3s/Work_Together-ReinMan_arrangement.mid
(MIDI channel assignment: #1: bass #4: rubber synth #5: guide organ track for chord structure #10: drums (kik, snr, Hh))

Well, hopefully some of you Eager Beavers can do something with all that stuff. Have fun.

(and please, keep in mind this all didn't exist a couple hours ago, its mucho ROUGH and, btw, I'm not going for a Grammy here! Wink)

I will now sit back and see which of the "talkers" picks up the ball and tosses it along to some of the other "players". Wink Twisted Evil reindeer

I find it interesting...

Almost 5 full pages of "I'm gonna do THIS" and "I'm gonna do THAT" and "Let ME have THIS file" and "I've got THIS software" etc.

Two days later... Nada from no one. Huh..

(P.S. if y'all don't like the ruff version I did, then scrap it and try something else. But I gotta tell ya, the way this thread just DIED INSTANTLY is less than inspiring to me. Neutral)
