hi everyone im new to photoshop and to this site and i hope to learn lots during my stay here

Try a contest first mate and work your way up from there, if you can handle criticism then ask for it in your comments but ya will need a thick skin, English is not the first language for most of our members so they can sound rather blunt, then some are just rather blunt.
So get in there and see whats what

So get in there and see whats what thanks man im doing just that but im having some problems changing the color of an image so im watching a tutorial on how to do that

You are on the right track. Google is your friend. Pretty much anything you can think of doing with Photoshop has had a tutorial created out there somewhere. Just start small and keep adding to your knowledge base... and don't get discouraged. Photoshop is a MONSTER of a program and it takes years to master.

(and, PS: Oscar can be a bit of an A-hole himself at times )
