K, last one, combined the star and the colors from the flag with the analytic idea. The perspective and reflection of the star isn't 100% and could be optimised to get a real own logo style but that's not the job right Wink Now I'll get back to my boring DVD covers and the take a way menu for my local Italian restaurant.

Cheers BL

wrong !!! it would TOTALLY work as a logo in a slightly simpler modified version (no transparencies or reflections)

Ja, but the transparencies and the reflections makes the deal, would work with different versions.

K, now for real: "last one" Razz Added some of the blue part to the red so it gets an arrow. Gets more dynamic and unique. Also changed the colours of the "tds" so it runs conform to the Texas flag. Still needs some rework but I like the idea that came out...

@supakOma: thx

Cheers BL

Sorry, just got time to post, it is literally exactly what it sounds like. It's for his company, which is development, as in land development, and based in Texas obviously. Wink

Really cool stuff so far, you guys are more creative than I am when it comes to stuff like this. Buglover, you are really good at making stuff like that. As someone said earlier, reflections are probably going to be too much, unfortunately, but the logo design itself is really nice. Still the best ones so far, imho. Smile

I was just reckoning that those details, which are really great looking on the large version, become increasingly detrimental the smaller you get.

Playing around. This is a good way not caring about my own jobs Wink Don't really works as a logo, but I like to play around with the 3D tool in Illustrator. The idea behind is getting some analysing style into the shape of texas.

Yeah, this could work nicely!
