Thanks for the link. There are some amazing pieces there. Some great designs and ingenious applications of paper. Many of the patterns are ridiculously intricate. Lots of crazy ideas. And a whole boatload of work. The book autopsies, for example, are clever and really well done. Anyone who has ever hollowed out a book for a hiding place knows it is a major pain to get clean, matching cuts of more than a couple of pages. Razor knives, X-acto blades, drills, and saws leave messy edges. I want to know how the guy cut the books. Ditto the fantastic patterns in the work of the other artists. If they were cut with a blade, there was a whole lot of patience and sharpening going on. Lasers?
These pieces also had me wondering about adhesives. I saw no telltales of glue in any of them, yet those whispy bits of paper had to be held together somehow.
And so on.
