I stopped chopping. I'm gonna stick with illustrations..... I love chopping but this isn't the place it was, and it drifts away from being that more everyday that goes by...... The other chopping sites are crap... damn..
I might be back when the advantage is seven days... I hope that thing works out... h2h and that stuff is cool but until then...the door out of this place is open... Confused

A lot of the site's most active people have just finished the H2H followed by the Scav.

About this thread. Don't we have mods that are supposed to be watching out for this stuff?
IMHO the mods are supposed to be the cure. What I see half the time is mods adding to the complaints, and whining instead.

How come site techs are either mods or just plain users?
You want to use "mod status' as an honorific around here,
all I can say about that is it's just plain dumb.
Give techies they're own status color like mods having their green, and take them out of the mod pool.

We really are trying to make this place the best that it can be.

Why don't you become a mod? You know, see things from the other side. Could it be that this place has become a bore for you? How hard would it be to make a companion site? Something with stricter rules. Maybe based on win percentage. Then you could jump back and forth between the two and get your needs met while others can get the practice and have fun. Maybe source pics could come with extra directions to liven up the process. Berating newbes, though, is just plain rude.

Dunno what you're talking about with most of that.
"Berating newbes, though, is just plain rude"
Exactly, we agree. You just say it so much more succinctly than I do, and it's the reason I went on to mention the role some mods here play.

Would you care to be more direct? All of the mods are working to make this site a better place. When dealing with such a large community you can't just act immediately with no discussion. There was a thread started in the mod forum about this image. It was discussed and subsequently removed.

You shamed those who voted for the bogus entry publicly. It seems those words have been removed but they were rude none the less.

Nope. Wasn't me. You definitely have me confused with someone else.
I'll forgive it though. I've made the same mistake myself, blaming the wrong person. There's so many here, it aint hard to confuse folks.
