ok, I need some feedback now... I can set up an online survey that will allow me to post the gifs and vote for them but (1) the voting will be anon and (2) There is probably a smarter way to do this.

So, could I get some feed back from everyone as to whether you like or dont like and if you can write code, then what is a smarter way to do this for free?

I want to get this going but am limited to my knowledge of websites

If that survey website supports 30+ gifs for voting, each up to 1 MB, i'd say its a pretty good way to manage the first giffy-contest.
Smart or not - it would work.
The anon voting wouldn't be an issue for me.

I think ANON voting would really make this fun.

See if you can get it sorted out (bandwidth, image # limitations, etc.), Jordan. You're doing good so far! Very Happy thumright

(yup - I tried the voting on that site too, and it let me vote for Marco 17 times! Shocked Razz)

shit I was afraid of that... It tracks it by IP address so i can see ip numbers and tell whether the same number voted twice on one image. I just think that will be a pain in the ass to do... none the less I CAN do it.

I will try to upload 50 of my 3.6M gifs and see if it starts smoking, sparking and swearing at me. Laughing

stay tuned Wink

Alright. It will let me post all of the images if I want... now I need to figure out if I can block an IP from voting twice.
